Areas of Interest
General Psychology
I support individuals facing a variety of challenges, such as those experiencing anxiety, obsessions and compulsions, depression, stress and burnout, anger management issues, communication difficulties, grief and loss, self-esteem concerns, addictions, and relationship and friendship problems.
Trauma Work
I care deeply about helping people overcome past experiences and embrace a more empowered future. I use a range of evidence-based methods, including Trauma-Informed Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Schema Therapy, which focuses on identifying and changing deep-rooted patterns or "schemas" that influence our thoughts, emotions, and behaviours. I also use Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), a technique that helps process and resolve traumatic memories.
Neurodiversity Affirming Practice
I’m passionate about helping people uncover their true selves and understand their needs so they can challenge systems and social norms that don’t serve them. I also believe that assessments should be a collaborative and validating experience.
Couples Therapy
I also have a strong interest in helping couples, especially those facing communication challenges. I use Gottman-based methods, which focus on improving relationship dynamics by enhancing communication, building trust, and fostering emotional connection.
